I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Communication and Media at the University of Michigan. I am co-advised by Christian Sandvig and Silvia Lindtner.
My dissertation is a multi-sited ethnography (currently) entitled “Brokering New York City: The Sociotechnical (Re)production of Chinese Alienness.” Grounded in feminist Sience and Technology Studies, it looks into digitally mediated placemaking and the racialization of China.
My other works also look into China’s data-driven governance.
